Indian slavery seems to make sense now….

Yes, I know this pic must have been out there for a long time, but I just found it and had to blog about it. This is how the English were able to enslave the Indians without a mutiny until 1857 and many peaceful years after that until Tilak, Gandhi and other Radicals came along…..
and it kind of made sense. The Moderates of Congress believed that British were superior and help in India’s development and we considered ourselves inferior until the renaissance in India by the Radicals and we started believing in our culture again. It’s sad but a true part of Indian history.
